About Gaffbee
We're building the property site we wanted while moving house.
Gaffbee is a UK property marketplace made for the people actually moving — live maps, real sold prices, and no games with the listings.
Why we exist
Moving house is hard enough without the portal getting in the way.
I spent a summer refreshing three property sites at 11pm, cross-checking the same house on all of them, and still not knowing what it last sold for or whether the photos were two years old.
Gaffbee started as a fix for that. One map you can trust. Sold prices on the page, not behind a sign-up. Listings that tell you when they were updated. Alerts that arrive when something genuinely matches, not every time an agent nudges a price by £5,000.
We're not here to replace estate agents — we work with them, and we price fairly so good local agents aren't punished for being small. We're here to make the bit in the middle, the searching and the deciding, feel calm.

How we work
Four rules we hold ourselves to.
01
People first
Every feature is built for the person moving, not the industry behind it. If it only helps us sell ads, it doesn't ship.
02
Show the numbers
Sold prices, running costs, EPC, school catchments and local trends sit on the page — no drip-feed, no sign-up wall.
03
Built for Britain
Outward postcodes, councils, stamp duty, leasehold, Scottish Home Reports. Not a US app with pounds bolted on.
04
Fair to agents
Transparent pricing, no per-lead surprises, and tools that make a two-branch agency look as sharp as a national chain.
Where we're at
Honest progress, not a roadmap fantasy.
- Live now
- Map-first search, real sold-price history, saved searches and alerts, area guides and the agent portal.
- In build
- Verified buyers, chain tracking and the Property Passport that follows a home from listing to completion.
- Next
- iOS and Android apps, deeper neighbourhood data, and richer valuation tools for homeowners.
- Team
- A small founding team in Britain, working with estate agents across the UK to get the details right.
Got a view on how property search should work?
We read everything. Buyers, renters, sellers and agents — tell us what's broken and we'll try to fix it.
